Tendonitis is inflammation of a tendon. The tendon attaches a muscle to the bone. If the muscles have accumulated adhesion, they will cause increase stress on the tendon. If the tendon becomes too stressed it can become inflamed and even degenerate. Common areas of tendonitis are the elbow and achilles tendon.
