Let’s get you back to normal life.

Shoulder Pain Overview

The shoulder is a ball-and-socket joint that has a wide and versatile range of motion that it gets from the rotator cuff. When something is wrong with your shoulder, it hinders your ability to move freely and can cause pain and discomfort. If you have damaged or swollen tendons or bones around the rotator cuff, it may be painful or difficult to lift your arm over tyour head.

Shoulder Pain Treatment*

The muscles surrounding the shoulder joint play a large role is supporting and stabilizing it. Therefore, it is vital that these muscles are properly examined and treated first. Dr. Phipps is a soft tissue specialist and has specialized training in the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of shoulder pain.

When you have pain, it can be difficult to determine which specialist to see first. We eliminate your uncertainty by requiring all potential patients to start with a consultation. This consultation is a brief visit with the doctor to determine if you are in the right place and would benefit from his care. Dr. Phipps always keeps consultation times available for new patients, so you won’t have to delay the proper treatment any further.

Tim’s Shoulder Pain Relief Journey

Tim came to Phipps Soft Tissue & Spine with pain in his right shoulder, it was sore all the time and he experienced sharp pain with certain movements, such as lifting his arm and any overhead work.

Primary diagnosis: Muscle adhesion in rotator cuff muscles

Treatment: Manual Adhesion Release™ to rotator cuff muscles

Outcome: As a result, after 4 treatments, Tim’s range of motion in his shoulder was fully restored and he had 90% less ache and no sharp pain in his shoulder. His shoulder range stayed full even after a month with no treatment.
